Madhuri Dixit Romantic movie DIL(1990) review

Dil Cast : Aamir Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Anupam Kher, Saeed Jaffrey, Deven Verma, Rajesh Puri. Synopsis : Dil talked about the age-old story of love between the rich and the poor, with a small difference. Madhuri Dixit is a rich man's daughter and Aamir Khan is a not-so-rich scrap dealer's son. Aaamir's father (Anupam Kher) is a miser to the core and refuses to part with a single penny. He values money the most, placing it above relationships even. When he hears that his son wants to marry a millionaire's daughter, he readily agrees. He even lies to the bride's father about his business. The bride's father somehow gets to know the truth and publicly insults Anupam Kher. Anupam Kher, humiliated, breaks the marriage. This sets the film's pace. The lovers now face an ordeal in the form of unrelenting fathers. In the end, everything falls in line of course.
